Information submitted by you
In signing up for our free CV matching service you will be required to register to the site and supply personal data used in the construction of the on-line CV.
In addition to this the CV Match necessitates the use of 'cookies' however these do not collect personal information about the user and are used only to assist with the running of the service and will not harm your computer in any way. Information on deleting or controlling cookies is available at www.AboutCookies.org. Please note that by deleting our cookies or disabling future cookies you may not be able to access certain areas or features of this site.

Indemnity
You understand that you are personally responsible for your behaviour while on the CV Match Site, and agree to indemnify and hold CV Match and its parent, subsidiaries, affiliates, and their officers, directors, employees and agents harmless from and against any loss, damage, liability, cost or expense of any kind (including legal fees and costs) that we may incur in connection with a third party claim or otherwise, in relation to your use of the Services, access to the CVMatch.net Site, your violation of either these Terms or the rights of any third party, disclosure of membership passwords and any other matter in connection with your participation in the services on the site.
You agree to use the Site only for lawful purposes and in a way that does not infringe the rights of, restrict or inhibit anyone else's use and enjoyment of the Site. Prohibited behaviour includes harassing or causing distresses or inconvenience to any person, transmitting obscene or offensive content or disrupting the normal flow of dialogue within the Site.
We can terminate your access to the Site or the Services at any time. We may also remove any Content that you post without cause and without notice to you. This includes all materials related to your use of the Services or registration, including, postings, profiles or other personalised information you have created while on the Site.

How is the information stored?
All data are stored on high security servers in a secure environment with all personal information password protected. Your personal data will be retained within the Johnston Press Group Customer Relationship Management (CRM) database.

What is the information used for?
All personal data submitted, this includes all personal data used in the construction of the on-line CV, will be used for matching your job requirements to the appropriate agency/employer, to provide you with our goods and services, for administration and customer services, for marketing and to ensure that the content and services of CV Match are tailored to your needs and interests.
By providing us with your fax number, land line and/or mobile telephone numbers or email address you consent to being contacted by these methods for these purposes. If you do not wish to receive marketing information from us or from our business partners please untick the appropriate box on the registration form.
Please note that if you provide us with information about another person, i.e. details of a referee, you confirm that they have appointed you to act for them, to consent to the processing of their personal data and that you have informed them of our identity and the purposes (as set out above) for which their personal data will be processed.
As part of the CV Match process you will receive an email each time a potential employer is interested in contacting you, no personal identification details will be made available to potential employers without your consent. Your consent will be obtained via email. Should you wish to cease the CV Match service follow the unsubscribe instructions on the email received.

Security and Passwords
By registering you will have submitted a user name and password. You are solely responsible for the security and correct use of your password; this should be kept confidential at all times and not disclosed to any other person. If you suspect it has become known to another third party you must notify us immediately, we accept no liability for any unauthorised or improper use or disclosure of any password.
